JasperReports Developer

What you will be doing (together with the rest of the team):

• Creating new reports according to specifications.
• Development and modifications of existing reports.
• Verifying correctness, optimising performance, and fixing errors in existing reports.
• Supporting the development of migration tools for legacy reports to JasperReports (problem analysis, proposed solution schemes, implementation support).
• Conducting training on report creation based on JasperReports.
• Collaborating with the team of developers, analysts, and database administrators to ensure efficient operation and optimisation of reports.
• Testing and debugging reports to ensure their proper functioning.
• Working with clients to understand their needs and customise reports to their requirements.
• Adapting reports to work with various databases (especially Oracle and PostgreSQL).

• Has a minimum of one year of experience working with JasperReports.
• Has a minimum of one year of experience working with relational databases - Oracle and/or PostgreSQL preferred.
• Can effectively communicate and collaborate with the team.
• Is independent and detail-oriented.
• Is eager to increase competencies in new technologies and deepen knowledge of the tools and technologies they work with.
• Is keen to develop their skills and share knowledge with other team members.

Must have:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with JasperReports
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases
• Knowledge of XML and tools for its processing

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Oracle Reports
• Familiarity with other reporting technologies
• Ability to program in PL/SQL and/or PL/pgSQL
• Knowledge of Java
• Knowledge of JavaScript or scripting languages (e.g., Python)
